The first 100% biodegradable footwear — designed in Delray Beach, FLORIDA, crafted with care at every stage of production.
We’re Giorgio and John, two friends from Florida and the Yucatán, where the ocean has always been our playground — boating, surfing, and exploring the coast while admiring the incredible wildlife that makes these places so unique.
But when sargassum algae began invading our beaches, everything changed. Beloved surf spots disappeared, shorelines turned brown, and sea turtles struggled to nest. It broke our hearts — and inspired us to act.
So we asked ourselves: What if nature’s problem could become part of the solution?
Together we started collecting sargassum and blending it with recycled plastic bottles gathered from the shoreline. Then we start using bio Polymer ...
After months of trial and error in our garage, we created a durable, ocean-friendly material, held together with eco-safe, water-based glue.
Today, our innovation is patent-protected, sustainability-certified, and community-driven — from sourcing to final packaging.
